Throughout my life, even at a young age, I
noticed how many times I experienced others and myself, using
familiar patterns or habits instead of common sense or reality
to accomplish this task called "living." At best, we
created personal or general policies to get what we wanted or
to justify getting what we wanted.
I first realized policies were rules I make
for myself, and with others because of the lack of trust. If I
do not trust someone, including myself, I make or agree to the
rules to follow. Policies or rules are then, at best, a replacement
for integrity. If I trust someone's integrity, including my own,
I have no need for rules or policies.
I hope this will help to remove some, if not
all, rules designed to compromise ourselves. It starts with you,
not us or them. If we acknowledge and trust our personal integrity,
things like greed-the trust of not enough, or scarcity-jealousy,
then mistrust of others would not be necessary.
Imagine what we could accomplish if no time
and energy were wasted on all the above, and how much success
we could all create.
